De este modo, el proyecto del futuro Parque de las Familias contempla la reurbanización del actual parque ‘Los Olivicos’, una superficie de 24.000 metros cuadrados en la que, como ha explicado Garrido, se incluirán zonas verdes, espacios de juegos infantiles, zona para calistenia, área para conciertos y espectáculos, o zona de recreo y restauración, entre otros equipamientos. “Y todo, con un sentido homenaje a la esencia de nuestro municipio: a nuestra agricultura y a nuestra historia.
