Leo Baptistao ha recibido un merecido homenaje por su destacada trayectoria en la UD Almería, justo antes del partido contra el CD Tenerife, que marcaba el cierre de la fase regular de LALIGA HYPERMOTION. Este evento se celebró tras alcanzar la impresionante cifra de 100 partidos oficiales con el equipo rojiblanco.

El emotivo reconocimiento tuvo lugar en el Campo Municipal de Anduva, ubicado en Miranda de Ebro, durante la penúltima jornada del campeonato. En este escenario, y ahora en el UD Almería Stadium, los aficionados pudieron rendir tributo a un jugador que ha dejado una huella significativa desde su llegada al club.

Baptistao se unió a la UD Almería en la temporada 2022-2023, coincidiendo con su regreso a Primera División. Bajo la dirección de Rubi, quien confiaba plenamente en sus capacidades, el brasileño no decepcionó: participó en 28 partidos y anotó 5 goles. Su rendimiento fue clave para consolidar al equipo en la élite del fútbol español.

En la temporada actual (2023-2024), continuó brillando con 32 apariciones en Liga y 2 en Copa del Rey, logrando marcar seis tantos. La afición ha podido disfrutar de su talento y entrega en cada encuentro.
