Por su parte, el director gerente del Consorcio ha explicado que las expediciones que actualmente realizan tráficos urbanos entre los diferentes centros de población del municipio, principalmente entre sus núcleos más poblados como son Roquetas de Mar y Aguadulce, están incluidos en la concesión autonómica VJA-152 y son principalmente prestados por las líneas metropolitanas M-999 “Urbana Roquetas de Mar – Aguadulce y la M-330 Las Marinas-Almería.
En este sentido, Luis Miguel Carmona ha informado de que durante el ejercicio 2024, ambas líneas habían registrado un total de 1.103.768 desplazamientos urbanos, experimentando un crecimiento de casi el 30% con respecto al ejercicio 2023 en el que las líneas ya cifraban más de 853.000 desplazamientos, que se suman casi a los 2 millones y medio más a los desplazamientos metropolitanos en el municipio roquetero.
