La Dirección General de Consumo de la Junta de Andalucía, bajo la supervisión de la Consejería de Salud, ha puesto en marcha una campaña de inspección destinada a verificar el cumplimiento de la normativa que rige los establecimientos de restauración en toda la comunidad autónoma. Esta iniciativa, que abarca todas las provincias andaluzas, contempla la revisión de al menos 900 establecimientos entre abril y diciembre.

Los inspectores de los Servicios Provinciales de Consumo se encargarán de supervisar diversos aspectos, entre los que se incluye el cumplimiento de la normativa andaluza sobre hojas de quejas y reclamaciones. También se asegurará que los precios reflejados en las cartas de comidas y bebidas sean completos e incluyan todos los impuestos aplicables.
Normativa sobre productos y etiquetado
Durante estas inspecciones, se prestará especial atención a que los establecimientos no comercialicen productos pesqueros no autorizados. Además, el control normativo abarcará el aceite de oliva y orujo, ya que está prohibido servir estos productos en aceiteras rellenables. La normativa estipula que deben utilizarse envases etiquetados con un sistema de cierre que impida su reutilización.

También se verificará el cumplimiento en materia de alérgenos e intolerancias. En 2024, durante una campaña similar, se llevaron a cabo 1.451 actuaciones inspectoras, visitando un total de 798 establecimientos. De estas inspecciones, 800 resultaron en expedientes por incumplimientos, lo que representa un 18,7% del total.

Entre los principales problemas identificados, muchos establecimientos carecían de las hojas de reclamaciones oficiales y del cartel informativo correspondiente. Asimismo, se constató que varios restaurantes no exhibían adecuadamente los precios de sus comidas y bebidas ni ofrecían listas claras con sus servicios.

Otras irregularidades incluyeron la falta de visibilidad tanto dentro como fuera del local respecto a las cartas o listas de precios. En algunos casos, los restaurantes no proporcionaban a los clientes una carta o lista antes del servicio, lo cual es un requisito esencial.
Aparte, se registraron incumplimientos relacionados con la obligación de venta por unidades o peso para productos como charcutería o queso, así como para moluscos o crustáceos. Estas acciones buscan garantizar una mayor transparencia y protección al consumidor en el sector gastronómico andaluz.
