Según datos provisionales del Registro Nacional de Víctimas de Accidentes de Tráfico, durante el año 2024 se registraron 142 siniestros relacionados con trabajos de mantenimiento y conservación en las carreteras. De estos, 23 involucraron a operarios que estaban trabajando o caminando cerca de la calzada, mientras que los restantes 119 afectaron a trabajadores dentro de sus vehículos.
