La Unidad Docente Multiprofesional de Atención Familiar y Comunitaria del Distrito Sanitario Almería ha celebrado el acto de despedida y reconocimiento a los 12 médicos internos residentes (MIR) de la especialidad de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria que han completado con éxito sus cuatro años de formación. A este grupo se suman dos profesionales de Enfermería Familiar y Comunitaria, que finalizaron su periodo de residencia el pasado mes, conformando una promoción total de 14 nuevos especialistas altamente cualificados.

El acto, que ha tenido lugar en las instalaciones de la propia Unidad Docente, ha reunido a tutores, coordinadores docentes, profesionales del Distrito y familiares de los residentes. Todos ellos han querido acompañar a los nuevos especialistas en este importante momento de transición hacia su incorporación plena al ejercicio profesional.
Durante la ceremonia, se ha puesto en valor el esfuerzo, la dedicación y la vocación de servicio público demostrados por los residentes durante estos años de intensa formación en el ámbito de la Atención Primaria. También se ha reconocido el papel fundamental del equipo docente, tutores y personal sanitario que han acompañado y guiado el proceso de aprendizaje de estos jóvenes profesionales.
