El Ministerio de Transportes ha reabierto al tráfico el tramo de la autovía A-7, que cuenta con dos carriles por sentido, en el enlace 829 del término municipal de El Ejido, en Almería. Esta reapertura se produce tras las reparaciones realizadas en la vía, que sufrió un colapso en su obra de drenaje transversal el pasado 11 de noviembre debido a las intensas lluvias.

Los trabajos de restauración comenzaron inmediatamente después del incidente. Para asegurar la circulación durante este periodo, se habilitó un desvío alternativo a través de la N-340A desde el 2 de diciembre. Este desvío implicó la construcción de dos nuevas glorietas en los enlaces 826 y 829, así como un bypass entre la N-340A y la A-7 y un nuevo paso de mediana, permitiendo así cortar la autovía en ambos sentidos para llevar a cabo las reparaciones necesarias.
Detalles de las obras
Las labores para restablecer el sistema de drenaje dañado incluyeron la edificación de dos nuevas estructuras: una en el kilómetro 828,86, que consiste en un marco de hormigón in situ con dimensiones de 5,5 metros de ancho y 4,5 metros de alto; y otra en el kilómetro 828,54, que es una estructura tricelular compuesta por tres marcos contiguos con medidas de 6,5 metros de ancho por 2,5 metros de alto, fabricada con marcos prefabricados.
