La concejal responsable del Área de Economía, Innovación y Contratación, Vanesa Lara, ha destacado que esta modificación permite utilizar parte del superávit del presupuesto liquidado en 2024 para financiar este proyecto. Financiación Conjunta
El Convenio firmado en julio de 2023 entre Adif, Adif Alta Velocidad, la Junta de Andalucía y el Ayuntamiento establece una financiación conjunta para cubrir los costos totales estimados en 234,77 millones de euros; de los cuales 34,28 millones corresponden a aportaciones municipales.
