Con su segundo toro, el cuarto de la tarde, la historia fue muy distinta. Con su segundo Talavante pudo quitarse el mal sabor de boca que le dejó su primer toro. Muy lucido de inicio con el capote y un tercio de banderillas complicado. Empezó la faena de rodillas conectando con los tendidos y logró colocar una certera estocada. El toro tardó en echarse al albero y tras unos minutos, como si buscara la intimidad para morir, rodó poniendo fin a una actuación que le valió una oreja.
Emilio de Justo, triunfador de la feria el año pasado, se mostró espectacular desde el inicio con el capote despertando los olés más fuertes hasta el momento con el tercero de la tarde. Firmes estatuarios para llevarse al toro a los medios y estéticos pases de pecho para firmar los cierres de las tandas. Mató tras un primer intento fallido y el público le brindó una oreja.

El segundo de su lote fue abanto y se lo puso muy difícil aunque De Justo sacó torería para completar una faena en la que se tuvo que poner en modo fajador. Al toro le faltó mucho motor y fuerza y, tras un ‘metisaca’, el toro se echó al ruedo poniendo final a una faena que no recibió trofeo.
