El subdelegado de Gobierno en Almería, José María Martín, ha afirmado que el Ejecutivo está "comprometido" en mejorar la conexión ferroviaria con la provincia, reconociendo las "deficiencias" existentes, después de que uno de los vagones del tren que cubría la ruta a Madrid se incendiara el pasado sábado. El incidente, ocurrido en Argamasilla de Calatrava (Ciudad Real), obligó a evacuar a 210 pasajeros.
