Un incidente ha generado alarma en el centro de Roquetas de Mar, en la provincia de Almería, después de que dos vehículos estacionados en la calle Pitágoras se incendiaran este domingo. El suceso, que tuvo lugar alrededor de las 19:50 horas, no causó heridos, pero sí un gran susto entre los vecinos y transeúntes.
Los residentes de la zona alertaron a los servicios de emergencia al ver las llamas y la densa columna de humo que salía de los vehículos, que se encontraban cerca del popular Paseo de Los Baños. Rápidamente, se desplegó un operativo de seguridad que incluyó a la Policía Local, Protección Civil y los Bomberos del Poniente, quienes controlaron la situación.

Las primeras investigaciones apuntan a que el fuego se originó debido a un posible problema relacionado con la batería de uno de los coches. Según testigos presenciales, ambos vehículos estaban conectados con cables para transferir energía y arrancar uno de ellos. El incendio se habría desatado cuando uno de los conductores entró en el coche y lo encendió, acelerando en ese momento.
