De esta manera, Amancio Prada invitó al público a subirse en un viaje emocional y musical, seguramente en tren, el medio habitual de su juventud a finales de los años 60 y principios de los 70, en el que ha hilvanado un relato desde sus inicios en la música, compartida con los estudios en gestión agrícola, con paradas en Valladolid, un pueblecito de Santander donde ganó su primer premio con el que se compró una guitarra, París, donde actuaba en sus bohemias calles, Madrid, y por supuesto el Bierzo que tanto le ha marcado. Y lo ha tejido con letras propias y adaptaciones de los poemas de su mesa camilla, grandes escritores, trenzando bellas melodías, recibidas con amor por el público que ha querido compartir esta espiritual experiencia.
Como afirmó Amancio Prada al final del concierto, “se espera de nosotros sensibilidad poética, pero no podríamos crear arte sin el acompañamiento de un público sensible, como el de esta noche. Es imprescindible”.

Amancio Prada se ha presentado solo, con su guitarra y su serenidad intacta para realizar un recorrido musical por sus fuentes poéticas: J. A. Sanchez Ferlosio (‘La vecina’), Agustín García Calvo (‘Juraría que he sido feliz’) Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer (‘Espirítu sin nombre’)… interpretadas en gallego o castellano, todas con coherente poética y una voz profundamente humana.
Estas adaptaciones poéticas las ha entrelazado con las obras de su último trabajo, ‘Prada, Prada’. Entre otros, se ha escuchado ‘Labregos’, ‘Chago’, ‘Sopla una brisa desnuda’ y ‘Tengo en el pecho una jaula’. En todos ellos, Amancio despliega un lirismo que parece brotar de la tierra misma, gracias a su voz profunda, templada y de una belleza que no busca agradar sino decir.

Amancio Prada demostró anoche en Almería que sigue siendo un cantor esencialmente libre e imprescindible del paisaje musical y cultural español. En un tiempo saturado de ruido y velocidad, Amancio Prada canta despacio, con la calma de quien sabe que el canto, cuando es auténtico, no envejece, sino que madura. Luminoso.
