El consejero de Industria, Energía y Minas de la Junta de Andalucía, Jorge Paradela, ha mantenido un encuentro de trabajo con los miembros de los Consejos de Industria y Medio Ambiente, así como de las Comisiones de Energía e Industria Aeroespacial y Defensa de la Confederación de Empresarios de Andalucía (CEA). Durante esta reunión, se presentó un balance sobre las actuaciones que está llevando a cabo su departamento para fomentar la actividad industrial, energética y minera en la región. En este contexto, Paradela destacó que la Consejería tiene “objetivos muy claros” relacionados con el crecimiento industrial en Andalucía, incluyendo la inversión en este sector y el desarrollo de energías renovables. También enfatizó el papel crucial que desempeña la minería metálica en la transición energética. Según sus palabras, “en todos estamos entre el 80 y el 90% de cumplimiento”, señalando que incluso en minería metálica se ha superado el objetivo establecido para esta legislatura.
Avances significativos en inversiones y energías renovables
El consejero informó que los objetivos para captar nueva inversión industrial, fijados en 5.000 millones anuales, ya alcanzan un 86%. Por otro lado, la meta de instalar 20 gigavatios de potencia renovable se ha logrado en un 80%, mientras que el incremento del 20% en la capacidad autorizada para producción minera ha sido superado en un asombroso 157%.

En particular, puso énfasis en una nueva orden de incentivos integrados para mejorar la competitividad y eficiencia energética del sector industrial (INCEA). Entre las novedades del programa “Cadenas de valor industrial” se incluye la posibilidad de un pago anticipado del 15% del incentivo concedido. Este porcentaje puede elevarse al 40% si se presenta una garantía bancaria para proyectos relacionados con eficiencia energética. Además, existe también la opción de recibir un primer pago parcial del 50% tras justificar documentalmente esa parte correspondiente a la inversión elegible.
Crecimiento notable en indicadores industriales
Paradela también compartió algunos indicadores positivos sobre el desempeño industrial andaluz. El Índice de Producción Industrial (IPIAN) ha crecido un 8% hasta agosto del presente año, contrastando con el modesto crecimiento del 0,6% a nivel nacional. Asimismo, el Valor Añadido Bruto (VAB) industrial ha aumentado un 16% entre 2021 y 2024; esta cifra asciende al 22% si se incluyen los servicios relacionados con la industria.

En cuanto al ámbito energético, subrayó que Andalucía cuenta actualmente con más de 16.100 megavatios instalados provenientes de fuentes renovables, lo que representa el 69% de toda su capacidad eléctrica generada.
