En el acto se presentaron los 13 equipos que conforman la estructura de URA: URA CLAN, Sub 6, Sub 8, Sub 10, Sub 12, Sub 14, Sub 16, Sub 18, Senior Femenino (las Tortugas), Senior Masculino, Uracanas, Costaleños y los Lomos Plateados.
Los veteranos Lomos Plateados, memoria viva del rugby almeriense, recibieron un reconocimiento especial como “los que hacen que todo sea posible”, siendo embajadores del rugby de Almería en todo el país.

El presidente de URA y jugador de los Lomos Plateados, Miguel Palanca, destacó la importancia de un proyecto que permite disfrutar del rugby a cualquier edad. Recordó, con orgullo, el espíritu de los veteranos: “Tenemos terceros tiempos memorables, con jugadores que superan los 70 años y siguen transmitiendo la esencia del rugby con pasión y compañerismo”.
Palanca terminó su intervención invitando a todos los asistentes a acercarse al rugby almeriense. Recordó que los equipos de URA juegan todos los sábados en el Estadio Juan Rojas y animó a la ciudadanía a disfrutar del rugby y de un ambiente deportivo sano, inclusivo y familiar.
