La Mesa en Defensa del Ferrocarril ha remitido a todos los grupos del Parlamento de Andalucía una propuesta de enmiendas parciales para el proyecto de presupuestos para el próximo año. Todas ellas se centran en las infraestructuras ferroviarias que desde la plataforma ciudadana se consideran tienen que ser el complemento necesario para cuando la alta velocidad llegue a la provincia de Almería. “A los portavoces de los grupos les indicamos que es necesario que estas aportaciones se contemplen porque a la postre lo que pretenden es que se creen infraestructuras necesarias para seguir con el desarrollo económico de la provincia y pensando también en ese futuro escenario de transporte intermodal tan necesario, sobre todo, para el sector hortofrutícola de la provincia, así como para otros sectores productivos como el de la piedra natural”, explica José Carlos Tejada, coordinador de la Mesa del Tren.
En términos generales las enmiendas tienen como objetivo que se mejore la movilidad de los ciudadanos tanto de la comarca del Poniente como del Bajo Andarax. “Si sumamos la población del Bajo Andarax, la capital y el Poniente estamos hablando de casi 600.000 personas, un 60% de la población que vive actualmente en la provincia. En este sentido desde la mesa hemos hecho una propuesta de enmiendas para que se dote de partida presupuestaria el inicio del puerto seco de Níjar, así como también partidas para la conexión ferroviaria y viaria de este puerto seco que será una pieza fundamental para el futuro escenario de transporte intermodal que necesita la provincia”, señala Tejada.

Asimismo, la plataforma ciudadana plantea la realización de una actualización del estudio informativo del tren de cercanías del Bajo Andarax y con respecto a la comarca del Poniente considera que es urgente y necesario que se haga un estudio informativo del futuro corredor ferroviario que atraviese esta comarca. “En este sentido planteamos que, al igual que en otras provincias Consejería y Ministerio de Transportes están llegando a acuerdos, se habilite una partida presupuestaria que contemplaría parte del coste de realización de ese estudio informativo que creemos no se puede dejar en el tiempo”, demanda el coordinador de la Mesa.

Respecto a la conexión ferroviaria con el Puerto de Almería la mesa considera que mientras se avanza en la ejecución de la segunda fase del soterramiento es el momento oportuno de que ese cajón soterrado que conecte con el puerto se ejecute y se lleve a cabo.

Por lo tanto “creemos que todas estas propuestas que hacemos a los grupos políticos deben ser tenidas en cuenta porque a la postre el único objetivo es mirar por el interés general de la ciudadanía, del crecimiento económico y el empleo de la provincia. Esperamos de los partidos políticos sean sensibles con estas propuestas, las recojan y planteen en pleno y, por supuesto, que el equipo de gobierno de la Junta de Andalucía las tenga en consideración y las asuma en los presupuestos del año 2026”, termina José Carlos Tejada.
