La instalación de pantallas antirruido en la autovía A-7 a su paso por Vícar, en la provincia de Almería, requerirá el corte del tráfico en el sentido de la circulación hacia Málaga. Esta medida obligará a la habilitación de un carril alternativo durante once días, específicamente entre el martes 9 de diciembre y el viernes 19 de diciembre. El tramo afectado por el corte se extiende entre los puntos kilométricos 805,3 y 807,1, e incluye el ramal de incorporación del enlace 805, también en dirección a Málaga.

El Ministerio de Transportes ha informado de que la restricción se debe a la necesidad de ejecutar 52 pilotes que servirán como cimentación para las nuevas pantallas acústicas, una obra que requiere situar la maquinaria sobre la propia calzada actualmente en servicio. Durante el periodo de las obras, la circulación se gestionará de forma alternativa: el tráfico discurrirá en ambos sentidos por la calzada opuesta, es decir, la que va en sentido Almería, y se habilitará la señalización correspondiente en todo momento. Para los vehículos que tengan previsto incorporarse a la A-7 desde el enlace 805, la alternativa de circulación será hacerlo a través del enlace del kilómetro 809, utilizando la carretera N-340A a través de Puebla de Vícar.
Estos trabajos de infraestructura no solo incluyen la instalación de las pantallas acústicas, sino también la sustitución del pavimento existente por uno de tipo fonoabsorbente. Esta actuación forma parte del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia del Estado español, que dispone de un presupuesto global de 11,56 millones de euros.

Las obras en la provincia de Almería comprenden un total de seis actuaciones distribuidas en tramos de la A-7 y la A-92. Específicamente, se llevarán a cabo cinco intervenciones en la A-7, localizadas entre los puntos kilométricos 805,975 y 824,789, en distintos márgenes y vías de servicio; y una actuación adicional en la autovía A-92, en sentido Granada, entre los kilómetros 381,530 y 382,350.
