También ha recordado los proyectos realizados recientemente en las Albuferas de Adra, que han permitido restaurar antiguos terrenos agrícolas para incorporarlos al humedal, así como la intervención prevista en los próximos meses en las Salinas de Cabo de Gata.
En conjunto, estas actuaciones suman 2,3 millones de euros, con la cofinanciación de la Unión Europea. El proyecto incorpora además la colocación de jalones de medición del nivel del agua en la Albufera Honda, la Albufera Nueva, el Salar de los Canos y la Cañada de las Norias.

Estos elementos son fundamentales para el seguimiento y la gestión de unos ecosistemas cuya vigilancia se realiza a través del Programa de Emergencias, Control Epidemiológico y Seguimiento de la Fauna Silvestre de Andalucía, coordinado por la Consejería a través de la Agencia de Medio Ambiente y Agua.
