Para la modalidad público-privada, se han reservado un millón de euros para cuatro proyectos que buscan generar o adquirir conocimiento en áreas relacionadas con la salud mediante la participación activa del sector privado. La duración máxima es igualmente de tres años, alcanzando hasta 479.547 euros el proyecto que obtenga más financiación. A esta cantidad se sumará la aportación mínima equivalente del ente privado involucrado.
En cuanto a los resultados por entidades, destaca que la Fundación para la Investigación Biosanitaria de Andalucía Oriental (FIBAO) ha logrado obtener seis proyectos en la modalidad general. Le sigue la Fundación para la Gestión de la Investigación en Salud de Sevilla (FISEVI), con cinco; mientras que la Fundación Pública Andaluza para la Investigación de Málaga en Biomedicina y Salud (FIMABIS) ha conseguido cuatro y la Fundación para la investigación biomédica de Córdoba (FIBICO) ha obtenido dos.

En lo que respecta a las áreas específicas abordadas por los 34 proyectos financiados, siete están relacionados con problemas de salud en atención primaria; seis se centran en Endocrinología; cinco abordan Enfermedades Neurológicas y Mentales; tres son sobre enfermedades crónicas; cuatro tratan sobre cáncer; y hay tres más dedicados a servicios sanitarios, tecnologías sanitarias y telemedicina.
