Aquellos que defienden el aprovecha cualquier medio disponible para el jugador y que son creyentes en el valor de los tells del crupier dentro del blackjack han señalado dos tells importantes que todos deberíamos al menos considerar a la hora de jugar:
Tiempo de observación de las cartas: Esta consiste en que los crupieres ven las cartas en un incómodo ángulo para evitar que los jugadores puedan ver las cartas que tienen en su mano. Este tell depende en la dificultad de lectura de unas cartas sobre otras, siendo el 10 el número más fácil de leer por ser el único numerado con dos cifras, las cartas con figuras (J, Q y K) son muy fáciles de leer, por lo que podemos creer que si el crupier puede leer fácilmente sus cartas es porque tiene al menos una carta alta. Por otro lado, las cifras 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 son más difíciles de leer y, además, desde ciertos ángulos el 2, 5,3 y 8 pueden ser confundidos por lo que requerirán ser observados por un poco más de tiempo y con más detenimiento; se cree que si el crupier tarda un tiempo significativo probablemente tendrá un 2, 3, 4, 5 o 6.
Distancia entre la mano del crupier y el zapato: Muchos jugadores de blackjack creen que los crupieres colocan su mano lejos del zapato cuando tienen una mano bajo y tienen que sacar cartas de él.
