Desde que Pedro Sánchez llegó a La Moncloa, primero con la moción de censura contra el entonces presidente Mariano Rajoy, y luego mediante unas elecciones generales, el PSOE de la provincia de Almería dejó de exhibir su “tradicional” contador de días sin obras del AVE, pero lo cierto es que paralización de las obras se ha producido con este gobierno.
Así, según los datos consultados por Noticias de Almería, en solo dos contratos, el Gobierno central ha convertido lo que debían haber sido 23 meses de obras, en nada menos que 65 meses, o lo que es lo mismo, algo menos de dos años, en más de cinco.

El problema, como puede comprobarse, es que en los dos proyectos a los que haremos referencia, se aprueba una pequeña ampliación de plazo de ejecución que podría ser comprensible, pero esto se hace años después de que tuviese que estar acabada la obra en cuestión.
Una de las conclusiones que puede extraerse es que la empresa se retrasó en la obra y el Gobierno debía sancionarla pero no lo hizo, porque probablemente éste se deba a impagos. Otra posibilidad es que la empresa realmente necesitara algo más de tiempo para acabar, pero el Gobierno fuese incapaz de actuar con la celeridad debida en ampliar el contrato.
