La pareja 2 del cuadro firmó un recorrido impecable hasta alcanzar la final. Derrotó en su estreno a Antonio Fernández y José Luis Morales (6-2 y 6-0), superó en cuartos con algo más de tajo a Gerónimo Iriart y Carlos Lirola y resolvió con mucha autoridad la semifinal ante Juan Luis Herrera y Juan José Jerez (6-1 y 6-0).
En la final se cruzó con los cabezas de serie número uno, Enrique Martos y Adrián Martínez, que también cumplieron con mucha solvencia en su recorrido. Debutaron ante José Antonio Campos y David Esteban (6-3 y 6-3), avanzaron sobre David Sánchez y Alejandro Castillejo (6-1 y 6-2) y derribaron la puerta para acceder a la final contra Jorge Romero y José Moreno (6-2 y 6-1).
