Ya en Riofrío, los excursionistas recibieron la visita del alcalde de Vícar, Antonio Bonilla, que siempre que su agenda se lo permite aprovecha esta jornada de convivencia de primavera para estar junto a los mayores del municipio. Bonilla, gran conocedor de la zona departió uno a uno con todos los viajeros, de los que destacó, como en anteriores ocasiones, “su enorme capacidad de sacrificio y su actitud noble de servicio a los demás demostrada a lo largo de todas vuestras vidas, que debe ser ejemplo para futuras generaciones".
