La actividad, organizada por la Autoridad Portuaria de Almería, dentro de su programa de responsabilidad social cultural, está patrocinada por Campojoyma, empresa de agricultura ecológica con sede en la provincia de Almería, líder en producción de hortalizas bío en España. Campojoyma está comprometida con la sostenibilidad, principalmente a través del cultivo de hortalizas, frutas y cítricos bío respetando el ciclo natural de las plantas, con el fin de convertir sus fincas en ecosistemas de vida, donde conviven flora y fauna. También lo desarrolla a través de diferentes acciones sociales, como es, en este caso, con el apoyo a AlPuerto, programa coordinado por Asiento VIP, que cuenta con la colaboración de la Fundación Bahía Almeriport.
