En el momento del derrumbe, había dos personas en el interior de las que una pudo salir y dar la voz de alarma. Así, rápidamente se alertó al Consorcio de Bomberos del Levante almeriense, a Guardia Civil y al Centro de Emergencias Sanitarias 061, que llegó a movilizar el helicóptero.
