Se recoge también el primer presupuesto de la nueva Área de Empleo y Juventud, 968.714,81 euros, “con el que pretendemos desarrollar desde el Ayuntamiento políticas municipales en materia de apoyo y promoción del empleo, el talento y el emprendimiento, entre otras con el desarrollo del primer Plan de Empleo Municipal, con una dotación económica de 200.000 euros”, ha detallado la regidora.
Otra de las principales líneas de actuación de este presupuesto está dirigida a impulsar la actividad comercial y hostelera mediante iniciativas dirigidas a la promoción y apoyo a las asociaciones del sector. Otra de las líneas de actuación incluidas en el presupuesto, comprometidas además por la propia alcaldesa, es la ejecución de un plan plurianual para la iluminación y pavimentación de caminos rurales y así lograr el acondicionamiento total de estos. La partida municipal presupuestaria, que vendrá completada con fondos de otras administraciones, como la Diputación, será de 300.000 euros en el próximo ejercicio.
“La movilidad es prioritaria y durante 2023 trabajaremos en “Almería ciudad Smart Mobility”, con el fin de conseguir una transformación digital y sostenible del transporte urbano y diseñaremos la distribución urbana de mercancías”, ha explicado Vázquez, adelantando también dotación presupuestaria para seguir “transformando solares municipales en aparcamientos públicos”. Ha destacado igualmente la alcaldesa en este avance del presupuesto el compromiso municipal de seguir atendiendo los barrios a través de los Distritos, “contemplando una partida específica para pequeñas actuaciones que mejoren los espacios públicos de nuestros barrios”

Inversiones
La alcaldesa de Almería ha venido también a destacar la finalización de gran cantidad de obras emblemáticas para la ciudad el próximo 2023, entre las que se encuentran el proyecto Jardines de La Hoya, el entorno del Hospital Provincial, las obras de Avda. Cabo de Gata y la mejora de la accesibilidad al Paseo Marítimo, la primera fase del Parque de La Goleta, la adaptación interior de Casas Consistoriales, la rehabilitación del antiguo Cine Katiuska, la demolición del edificio de Correos o, ya muy avanzadas, las obras de mejora del entorno de San Cristóbal, entre otras, junto a proyectos nuevos en los que ya se está trabajando “enfocados al embellecimiento y remodelación del Casco Histórico, nuestro frente litoral y al Barrio de Cabo de Gata. Además se va a elaborar un proyecto de iluminación de las edificios históricos más emblemáticos de nuestra ciudad”, ha adelantado.

Por su parte, el concejal de Economía y Contratación, Carlos Sánchez, ha apuntado que “este presupuesto certifica el cumplimiento de gran parte de los compromisos electorales del Partido Popular. Hemos ido por el camino menos fácil, aumentando las inversiones, prestando los servicios que nos demandan los ciudadanos y sin subir los impuestos.
