A lo largo de seis semanas, el programa implementó un innovador conjunto de 12 sesiones grupales que abordaron aspectos como el bienestar físico, la salud emocional, la alimentación asequible y saludable, así como el acceso a recursos sociales y la creación de redes de apoyo. Apertura y Ponencias
La jornada fue inaugurada por Cayetano Fernández Sola, catedrático universitario y Co-IP del proyecto Procuimares, junto a Virginia López Gutiérrez, presidenta de Médicos del Mundo Andalucía. La ponencia inaugural fue presentada por José Manuel Hernández Padilla, investigador principal del proyecto, quien expuso sobre las experiencias y necesidades de salud de adultos mayores en situación de pobreza en Almería.

La jornada concluyó con una mesa redonda sobre programas similares existentes en Andalucía, con representantes tanto de Médicos del Mundo Sevilla como del equipo regional dedicado a Inclusión Social.
